Anti reflective and transmissive optical coatings

We have developed a broad spectrum optical coating that achieves high performance (<0.5% reflectivity) and is implemented via a single layer wet coat. The technology is based on inorganic nanoparticles with ONTO® delivering adhesion to a broad range of substrates. In addition a number of value added benefits such as anti-smear, self-cleaning and heat transfer can be delivered. The technology is currently available for use on glass and we are developing it for use with polymer substrates. Potential applications include display screens for computers, TVs, mobile phones and PDA's as well as solar cells and construction glass.
