Adhesion Promoter

Bonding polyolefins, polyimide, epoxy and other unreactive materials is challenging and, in some cases, not even possible. Typically it requires surface treatments either to increase surface area or to swell the surface. We have developed promoters for existing adhesive systems (epoxy, polyurethane, cyanoacrylate, silicone) that deliver high strength bonding to surfaces that have no reactive chemistry and very low surface energy. These promoters have demonstrated outstanding performance on low surface energy materials allowing the use of existing adhesive systems without the need for surface roughening or other processing. As with all of our technologies, we do not offer standard products, but our technology is available for licensing for integration into our customers' product offerings.
