Direct Adhesion with high mechanical strength and flexibility

We have developed a unique adhesive polymer platform using OntoTM cross-linking technology that provides high strength, flexible adhesion between solid surfaces with low surface energy.

We have demonstrated superior performance versus existing adhesives when binding solid surfaces with no reactive surface chemistry and low surface energy, i.e. C stage epoxy, polyolefins, PET. This has been achieved without the need for priming or roughening the surface of the substrates.

The adhesive platform is based on an Onto® empowered Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene polymer which provides high mechanical strength with flexibility and which can be tailored to deliver a range of application-specific performance properties. The adhesive is delivered via a single pot solvent-based formulation and is fast cured under heat or UV with a high degree of flexibility in process conditions.
