MPS silica-based nanoparticles have a very large pore volume which results in their inherently low refractive index. Their unique tortuous path pore structure allows them the highest degree of porosity without compromising their mechanical properties. These features give rise to their use in many applications, including their use in anti-reflective coatings. We are able to tailor the surface chemistry of the nanoparticles to allow integration into formulations.
