Multicomp delegates to learn about OAS’s ground-breaking technology

Oxford AdvanScreen Shot 2017-05-19 at 14.28.20ced Surfaces will address delegates at a brand-new lightweight composite structures conference that is being held at the Nottingham Conference Centre on 14-15 June.

‘Multicomp’ has been launched by Net Composites which provides a news and information portal to the composites industry, as well as advanced materials research and development services.

The event aims to stimulate understanding and networking between researchers, designers, manufacturers and end-users that are engaged in the composites industry.

The conference will explore the opportunities and challenges that currently exist when working with hybrid material structures, with a particular emphasis upon the effective integration of composites.

The event will also provide a forum for companies and individuals to explore the latest trends in hybrid composite structures and identify new opportunities for products within their business areas.

OAS Business Development Manager, Terence Warmbier, will be one of the guest speakers on the second day at 12pm. The title of his presentation will be ‘Joining of composites and dissimilar plastics in volume manufacturing’.

He said: “It looks like Multicomp is going to be a strongly supported event with lots of important contacts from the automotive, aerospace, rail and energy sectors in attendance.

“As a confirmed guest speaker, we have a great opportunity to talk to a key audience that’s actively engaged in the composites industry about the benefits of using our Onto™ technology to improve their production processes and the quality and performance of the composite product they want to achieve.”

Delegates that would like to arrange a meeting with someone from OAS at Multicomp should send an e-mail to in advance.

Registrations to attend the conference are still open. Click HERE to secure a place.
